GauchoŽ is made of high tensile steel wire. This means we can use a smaller diameter wire while maintaining the same strength as conventional barbed wire.
Our reverse twist design reduces sagging, eliminates the need for pre-stretching, and allows for increased post spacing, all of which will save you time, money, and maintenance headaches.
And, GauchoŽ products come with Class 3 Galvanized coating standard. Class 3 coating is proven to last two times longer than Class 1 coating. Or you can choose GauchoŽ Barbed Wire withZA + Paint. GauchoŽ Barbed Wire withZA + Paint is available with a green finish and will last four to six times longer than a standard Class 1 Galvanized fence and enhance the appearance of your property as well.
All Gaucho barbed wire products meet or exceed ASTM A 121-07 for product standards, as well as, ASTM A 641-03 for zinc coating standards.
